Cheila joins the team

We are very pleased to welcome Cheila to The Drawing Room team.

Cheila joins us as a fully qualified Architect, completing her Masters in Architecture in Portugal and Greece. She brings with her experience practising in both Belgium and Portugal.

Cheila says, “I’m happy for a new chapter in my career with The Drawing Room, and extremely excited about future projects working alongside the great team I’ve encountered here in picturesque Guernsey. Grateful for the opportunity and hope to grow with The Drawing Room!"

Leonie joins the team

Leonie

We are very pleased to welcome Leonie to The Drawing Room team.

Leonie joins us as an Apprentice Architectural Technologist in her third year at Guernsey College of Further Education where she will continue her studies.

Leonie has been working for a local structural engineering firm for two years and wanted to further develop her creative skills. Recruiting Leonie was an easy choice as she has already demonstrated her commitment to the construction industry and willingness to learn which is essential for an apprentice.

This is underpinned with some really good experience of construction and structures. We are really looking forward to helping her develop into a crucial team player.

Leonie says, “I am super excited to be joining The Drawing Room team and to develop my knowledge and skills within the architectural industry. Working as a team to bring projects to life will be extremely rewarding and this makes me feel grateful to be a part of this team."

Inma Laiño joins the team

Inma Laiño

We are pleased to welcome Inma Laiño to The Drawing Room team.

Inma qualified in Architectural Technology in 2010 at the University of La Coruna, Spain. We are excited to help Inma continue her development with us.

Inma says, "I am very happy to join the team and grateful for the trust given to me, looking forward to seeing what this project will become in the future. As all the great things in life, it all starts with a single step."

Martyn Howes joins the team

Martyn Howes

We are very excited to welcome Martyn Howes to The Drawing Room team.

Martyn is a Part II Architect and joins us with eight years' architectural experience in Guernsey.

Martyn’s passion is in contemporary design, the environment and using 3D renderings and virtual reality. His experience and creativity is a huge boost to our growing team and we can’t wait to showcase his skill to our clients.

Martyn says “I am really looking forward to starting my new role at The Drawing Room with this fantastic team. I love my career and helping to bring a client’s dreams to life.

It gives me great pride to work closely with clients throughout the process and showcase designs through the innovation of 3D and virtual reality. I can't wait to see old and new faces and to hit the ground running."

Tom Bourgaize joins as a Director

Tom Bourgaize & Rachel Rogers

We are pleased to announce the appointment of Tom Bourgaize as a Director.

Founder and Director Rachel Rogers is excited about the appointment and what it means for the company. Rachel said:

“Tom brings a wealth of knowledge with him, particularly on large scale residential and commercial developments. Combining our skills and experience will further enhance the architectural and interior design services The Drawing Room can offer. With the continued ambition of designing great buildings that are totally tailored to our clients' needs.”

Tom started his new journey in partnership with Rachel today. Tom said: “I’m really excited to partner with Rachel complimenting the success she’s enjoyed over the last 12 years with The Drawing Room. I start this journey energised and ready to start working on exciting future projects.”
