We have submitted a planning application for the transformation of this 1960’s bungalow situated on the south coast cliffs of Guernsey.
The design strategy involved preserving the existing base of the house while replacing the low-hipped roof with a contemporary flat roof extension on the first floor to enhance natural light and increase the overall habitable space.
The elevated location of the property inspired the creation of external terraces that offer stunning views of the surrounding landscape. This project is a good demonstration of successfully updating an ageing bungalow without resorting to complete demolition and rebuild.
