▶︎ Business Support Manager (part-time) ◀︎
We have a new exciting opportunity to join, and support, our growing design team of seven.
We are looking for a focussed, organised and proactive individual interested in working part-time (20 hours per week). The position has considerable breadth, touching on all aspects of studio life.
You will need a flexible approach with a strong ability to manage challenges and projects to enable the efficient running of the design studio.
Key responsibilities:
Bookkeeping including, payroll, banking, profit and loss, financial reporting, forecasting and new business budgets
Supporting the design team with administrative duties such as filing, stationery, ordering supplies and office organisation
PA to the two directors, including diary control, travel booking, mailbox management and task management
Employee engagement and support, including new joiner set up, holiday requests, overtime, contract renewal, upholding studio policies and procedures
IT troubleshooting, including licence and software renewals, filing management, hardware management and liaising with IT Support
Point of contact internally and externally managing incoming calls, post, and email mailboxes
We are looking for candidates with five years’ minimum experience with qualities that include:
bookkeeping experience
experience with Xero (or similar accounting software)
confident in Microsoft tools such as Word and Excel
excellent communication and written skills with an enthusiastic and helpful outlook
excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
an interest in architecture and the built environment
honest, discrete, personable, and professional
strong team player
Salary dependent on experience
